well i'd been following SC2 for a while, and then it took bliz so long i stopped watching. then also my daughter appeared and I only just found out about SC2 last night @_@

Well, in the Protoss/Zerg research tree you choose one and you lose another, but in general it's all about what goes well with your tactics. Personally i replayed the whole campaign in hard mode and chose different things to see how it changes the gameplay.
When the Vision Missions open(Zeratul) do all of them before you do the other missions. Lots of research points for when you start using Terran technology again.
Invest on the mercenaries, there will be missions that a fast little army can scale the balance to your favor, plus they are stronger than the usual units.

Same goes to armory upgrades, whatever suits your style. No reason to upgrade the ghosts if you don't use them, right?

Actually the mission that unlocks the bonus is "Media Blitz", a couple missions after you take Thor.

Well, it's pretty general i think. FoD is starting to fall apart too, but maybe i can get us back in our feet. I personally had a GW overdose this last month, so i gave my self a few days off.
I'm gonna start some new recruiting too and see how it goes from there.

Been a while since I struggled through my 12h working day with little to no sleep. Still feels absolutely horrible though. I have to stay busy to prevent falling asleep

Aaaan the Alliance is alive and kicking again! New members in FoD and LOV, some of the older ones returned to CoT! Oh, and for those that haven't heard, we're having a party in FoD Guild Hall this Sunday! YAY!

Ktulu (dpoe's captain) has also returned.. I've spoken to him last night, he moved and has Internet just now.

Wait, not even one of the existing members is willing for recruiting? I mean, i told to my ppl that anyone can recruit, but only officers can invite. And that they still get credit for recruiting, not the officer.

that's what has been the issue for months @ DW yeah.
-officers don't recruit
-members don't want to become officer because of the tasks and either leave or go inactive

we have a couple of members who login quite regularly, also some of the officers are around mostly during the daytime. During the evening nothing happens @dw

I think you might have people from the wrong time zones... Check it out.

maybe some of the newer ones were from diff time zones, but they have also left again.. Some of the others (incl officers) are students who haven't got much to do during the day and are usually not @home in the evening.
I've thought about doing another Lottery night for tonight, but didn't have enough time to plan it. Might move it to next monday.

If you finally do it, tell me so i can put an event entry in the FoD and LOV sites too.

restarted a bit of recruitment last night.. also kicked the bottom of the list of inactives. will update this again next week (noticed Solari is now longest inactive)
3 new members... let's see how long they'll stay, because there are no officers around at this time and I'll be away the next few evenings :/
At least 2 of them are willing to become officer and help out, so that's at least something to start off with

Hey, Have you thought about making a merge with one of the other, less active, guilds? Like DPoE or AoA. If they too have little activity then why not get the active players in the same guild?
You clear out the inactive and you make a fairly active guild in the process!

tbh have not seen Golden May for a long while.. so I dunno what AoA's status is. Ktulu only just got back from inactivity due to moving to a new place, so I don't think it's that far with DPoE yet.

Have just recruited 5 new peeps and we might promote 2 of them later this week. Also I'm going to push one of my mesmers into title hunt so I've got something to do again
