result: loss of 5 (new) active members

demoted another officer, weiyan is next if no recruitment happens during my absence. Most of my GW time goes to recruitment and if nothing happens during my absence this is the way I'm going to continue my seach for decent officers.

One of my friends in Battle.net(who is a real friend actually)saw my status and it said i wasn't online for 54 years or so. The thing is that this was actually a glitch from my Starcraft 2 account, but i got to be the smartass for days.
"Dude, when I was playing WoW they where still writing the script!" "Dude, when I was playing WoW, we were still using actual swords!", "Dude, when i was playing WoW the Level cap was still 5" And things like that.

Well, if you're gonna go there, go big(32GB).

And yes, WoW IS ugly as hell compared to other MMO out there. I'm currently in Rift Beta and it looks pretty nice.

Well, the general style of play and interface reminds of WoW, but we got dynamic events(Rifts) that actually play a role in what happens in the world and in certain areas.
You close them? All good. You don't? Then the area around a rift starts to pop out creature from it, so you need to kill them all and then close the Rift or you start losing towns.
The whole "dynamic events" reminded me of GW2, but untill i actually SEE GW2 i can't say for sure, only speculate.

Also, i liked the class/skill system. It kinda reminds me of the 3-way skill tree of Diablo, but with more options. I general, it's not a WoW killer, mostly because there is no such thing. You'll either like it or you'll just stay in WoW, PvPing to eternity.
Yes, it's fun, it has some old stuff, but it also has a lot new ones.

P.S.: This Wednesday starts an Open Beta event that will last for 6 days, till the next Monday. Download it(it's a rather large installation and has a lot of patches) and get ready for it!

so we're back on track with more than 10 actives per night it seems. Also Nolas has returned to take lead in the PvP part of our team again. So far 5-6 experienced PvP members and more on the way.

I haven't been very active lately, mainly due disinterest in GW1 and a pretty busy schedule of studying, playing with my band and hanging out with my friends.
I do log in occasionally though, and I'll still check the new events and updates.

A few things have happened - I'm now at Uni, and (more importantly) my laptop's hard drive crashed for the second time in 2 months, so this new laptop I have doesn't have Guild Wars installed. So not only do I not have the game installed, my game-time will be limited in the next few days. I do apologise.
